The first appliance is in. The fridge arrived today. The rest of the appliances should be here Monday, barring a big snowstorm or something this weekend.

There is still more trim work to complete. It seems like this phase will never end.

Progress update

Lots of little things completed last week. The floors were refinished, all cabinets received and mostly installed. Trim getting installed. Also new outside doors completed yesterday. This week is scheduled for tile with painting and electrical next week. The appliances should start arriving on friday and monday next week. We are down to the last few weeks. And so far still reasonably sane!

Today is cabinet install day and wood trim.

Cabinets arrived today. Installation this week. Also trim arrived (and was sent back) and tile dude got started.

Stucco

Stucco completed yesterday. It was 64 snd sunny yesterday. The stucco guys said it is probably their last job this year (though you never know with global climate change!)

Sure is nice to have the scaffolding gone. So far all is on schedule.

Painting the drywall sealer

So... Sue and I today painted the living room with drywall sealer. Tomorrow we will at least get the rest of it done. Possibly put the final coat on the ceilings too. We are trying to decide between a "ceiling white" and an off white. Not sure which way to go. Any comments?

Wood floors!!!

Wowee. Wood floors going in today and tomorrow. Also more drywall mud upstairs. Heard that tile is scheduled for next week. Lots of progress.

Drywall still getting sanded

Not much of an update. The drywall folks are still putting down mud and smoothing out the seams. Rumor has it the hardwood floors will be installed yet this week. No photo since it is mostly unchanged.
