Finally -- the last two cabinet doors arrived today. There are still a few nagging items to complete but we are VERY close to being done!!!

What's left: some electrical fixture installation, install the cabinet doors, some door and closet painting, speaker install, and approx 1,000,000 little details.

After five attempts - fridge number six is installed and looking good.

More trim and stove backsplash

Yesterday the backsplash was installed behind the stove. Grout is not in yet. We think it turned out pretty cool. Electrician starting to install fixtures and finish the wiring too. The construction/finish part should be done this week or early next week. We hope. Then the painter starts for final color application.

The first appliance is in. The fridge arrived today. The rest of the appliances should be here Monday, barring a big snowstorm or something this weekend.

There is still more trim work to complete. It seems like this phase will never end.

Sure is neat to see progress. Lots of the past week has been spent with trim etc that is hard to see daily progress. No tile floors till next week.

Progress update

Lots of little things completed last week. The floors were refinished, all cabinets received and mostly installed. Trim getting installed. Also new outside doors completed yesterday. This week is scheduled for tile with painting and electrical next week. The appliances should start arriving on friday and monday next week. We are down to the last few weeks. And so far still reasonably sane!
